After cleaning up my garage and selling off parts here and there over the years, I've finally decided to sell my Series 1 project. It is a red 1958 88" station wagon (one of only six that came into BC that year as far as I can tell).
Here's what I have:
Restored chassis (All the welding is done, details like bushings need doing)
Restored bulkhead (I also have the original bulkhead)
Body panels (in the original red patina)
Front and rear hub-to-hub axles
Lots of other parts, including radiator, gas tank, etc.
Here's what I don't have:
Engine
Transmission
Some bits and pieces I'm sure...
It's a great platform to start a restoration. It would be a unique vehicle when it's done. Attached is a picture of another one - the one I have looks like that.
