Just wanted to ask before I get the angle grinder out.
There seems to be long bolt that runs from back to front at the bottom of the bulkhead that secures it. Is this a screw right through? I’ve removed the nut at one end but the bolt just turns when trying to removed.
I cannot hammer it through either.

It should push through. Spray with good penetrating oil (not WD40), and flex the bulkhead back and forth a bit. Sometimes it’s so badly rusted in place that you need to use a torch to heat it up and loosen the bolt.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Put the nut back on (not all the way) so that it protects the threads while you the whole area with heat and then use a Really Big Hammer on the nut.

Got one out. The other rusted solid it appears. Someone who had the frame prior snapped the bolt head off.
I ended up cutting between the bulkhead and the outrigger. No idea how I’m going to get the rest out ....

Re: Series 1 bulkhead.
Use an acetylene torch to heat it up red hot and pound with a hammer. Works every time.
