Bidding is already ridiculous, in my opinion.
Some may say that I am cheap. I just think I'm frugal. :bounce:

Definitely. Get a Perentie instead. They are much better and sell for a lot less.

Well, $31,000 and climbing with days to go.... I know that in general this forum isn't much for political commentary but considering what our national deficit is going to be lets hope the deep-pocket bidders keep going as we could use all the spare change they've got!!! Wonder who finally gets the cash once Crown Assets gets it all tallied-up, Canada or the UK?

This was in the Canadian Tire in Chilliwack last week. My friend who works there took the pics.

I have given up hope of owning a Defender, insane money for a rudimentary 1980's utility vehicle.

Hey Colin, never say never, if you do a proper job restoring your 109 it will be worth more than most Defenders. Stay focused, you are heading down a great pathway.

The amount of money people want for Series restorations is also crazy.

But $31k for a vehicle that was beaten to hell by a bunch of grunts?
