110 parts vehicle SOLD
1983 Land Rover 110 parts vehicle (no registration) for sale. Truck was to be used as the basis for a full tdci/puma restoration. It was partially disassembled before the realization that many items (bulkhead etc.) would need to be changed to fit new components. Therefore parts were reassembled to be sold as is. To clarify, this is not a complete vehicle with registration or VIN. It is an almost complete assemblage of parts. Everything pictured for sale as a complete unit, except for the 4 wolf wheels and the front springs. No shocks are included
Chassis is in fair condition. Surface rust is obvious but overall it is structurally sound. The only areas of r concern are the mid-crossmember (supporting front of tub) and the right outer edge of the rear crossmember. The steel has begun the swell, but this is an easy repair (see images). Otherwise rear crossmember is solid.
All four doors are in rough condition with galvanic corrosion issues along the lower edges.
Bulkhead is in rough but salvageable condition. Footwells have typical rust holes along leading edges on passenger and drivers sides. Visual rust on hinge area
Included engine is a 2.5TD from a 90’s Daihatsu Rocky/Fourtrack. It blows large amounts of white smoke on start up.
Transmission included is an early lt77 5 speed.
Transfer box series number is 28D328068E
Front wings and rear tub panels are in good shape with no dents or large scrapes.
Paint is faded and pealing in a number areas. The truck was respray green over the original factory brown colour by a previous owner.
ARB bull bar has no dents or bends.
Factory secondary fuel tank and fittings under right hand driver seat
5 seats.
Early Land Rover 110 individual second row seat bases. New middle seat cushions from Rovers North
Roof is a smooth un-ribbed version from a later 110 or defender. Sunroof included.
Additional pictures: https://imgur.com/a/fH0z9E9
***Vehicle can not be registered in its current configuration, it is an assemblage of parts. There will be no transfer of ownership papers and no Land Rover VIN included. However, it my be possible to submit an application to ICBC for a homebuilt vehicle and obtain an BC assigned VIN is you choose to go that route.
$5500

Price drop; $5000 obo.
Lots of interest in specific parts but I'm still looking move the whole lot. I'm quite flexible on negotiating fair price for any interested party.

Hi Nick,
I'd like to come take a look. I tried to PM but it seems stuck in the outbox.

Re: 110 parts vehicle
Actually, the messages do get sent, but there is a bug in our version of the forum app that makes it look like it is still in the outbox folder. Eventually it does transfer to the sent folder.swamijake wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 6:23 pm Hi Nick,

FYI - Sometime over the next few weeks we will be upgrading to the next release of the forum app. Hopefully that will fix this (and many other) bugs. :(

Re: 110 parts vehicle
Normally being in the outbox means that it has not been read. It moves to sent when it is read.
