The Rover-Lander Spring 2020

#1 Post by StuartL » Sun May 17, 2020 10:10 am

All, I just received a copy of the Spring 2020 Rover-Lander and love the new look. The pictures are great and the articles interesting. The format is clean, well organized, and the print font is a nice size to read.

Congratulations and many kudos to Gary, Andy, Deborrah, Colin, and Larry for their hard work and great articles. And of course, the Vendors who help make this all possible. I hope I didn't leave anyone out!

So you tardy members slow to renew better send in your renewals or you will miss out!!!

Well done!!!

Yes I concur with Stuart on all points. Gary we appreciate you taking on the task of producing the newsletter. Just wondering if you (the Club) plan on doing a Directory this year?

Hi Gents

Good to hear you are liking the first edition under our new Newsletter Editor. Yes, Big thanks to Gary for taking on the challenge, they were big shoes to fill.

Remember as soon as the Spring Newsletter went out we are already looking for material for the next one. If you have any interesting Land Rover Related tales or projects, that you would like to share, please send them to [email protected]

The 2020 Club Members Directory will be printed and distributed in August, Thank you to Pamela who has agreed to put out one final edition before heading off on their travels.

Cheers
Andy

I actually thought it was a step back compared to the previous design... not as tidy or as easy to read. Its a shame the existing layout couldn't have been kept. Still, it is a big job for a volunteer so hats off for getting it to print regardless!
