The Corvette LS3 engine does seem to fit ok in the Defender, but not a lot of room around the engine to work.
I'm not too sure about all those electrical bits and bobs on the bulkhead that would get swamped on the first big mud puddle :shock:

I have an LS 6.0 (truck) and there is actually a lot of space in there. The engine in the photo has some coil covers that make it look larger but remove those and it opens up nicely. Sorry the pics not too good.
