Club Social Gathering “Wear your Green” St Paddy’s Day at Porteau Cove - 11am to 3pm Sat March 14th 2020

Come on out and join us at this beautiful spot, just a little way past Horse Shoe Bay on the Sea to Sky.
For this St Paddy's Day the club is putting on a delicious Irish Stew and some munchies & beverages. (sorry, no vegetarian option) Free for members & family.

Bring your Land Rover and wear you best greenery :alien: Even better if its a Green Rover-Landers shirt :bounce: We can bring you a new one if you want to buy one!
Family friendly event, bring the kids for a few hours on the beach!
Please let us know if your coming along so we can prep the right amount of food,

For those interested I will be bringing my Defender XD - Commonly referred to as a Wolf to the celebration.

I am planning on selling it but not quite ready to list it as I am enjoying driving it very much. It is probably one of the best driving Defenders I have ever driven. It has about 72,000 km on it.

Check out the Wikipedia article on it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_Wolf. The one improvement it doesn't list is that the heater produces warmth!!!

Its good that we just slipped this one in, just before the S#%t hit the fan ...

Sorry we missed you, after surviving 3 hrs of wind gusts up to 90 kph I think we were all a bit "chapped" around the edges. (The shelter nearly took off a few time)
So we packed up a little earlier than advertised. Hopefully you still enjoyed a walk around in the fresh air, its a nice spot at Porteau Cove.

I can understand. We spent a couple hours wondering on the beach. Very blustery but the scenery was beautiful albeit a little cold.
