RRC Idle Problem - TPS?

the first power wash problem sounds normal as water got into the dizzy as i have done this myself.
As for the other you could try and leave the dizzy cap off for a day to let any water evaporate completely.
Check all your vacum lines and electrical connection to see if any came loose in the wash.?

I had a similar problem with my 87 RR. It started getting hard to start without stepping on the gas peddle first then it would start but die right away then restart ok. Finally one day it just would not start. BTW the engine light was on the whole time. I check all the meter reading as listed in the manuel and found that the TPS was way out, I adjusted it to be in spec and bingo, no more problem. Maybe you should adjust yours? It is easy and cheap so you have nothing to loose.
