Land Rovers in the Turks and Caicos Islands
I did a little scouting around the island today, and my favourite Land Rover graveyard is being developed and only a few Defenders left.
There is a shop restoring them on the Island and doing a pretty nice job.

Hi Stuart,
Hope your enjoying the weather down there. I wouldn't try to nick any parts off those Defenders, it looks like they're in a mine field.

Import duty on a used car is 50% of what customs decides the vehicle is worth. So Land Rovers are perfect vehicles for down here because you can just rebuild them.
Here's a couple more I found...
This is for sale at a dealership, an eighties Defender with a very recent paint job hiding lots of rust, $40,000 USD

Hey Bill,
Very good point, that is why I let the local walk in front of me. Did you notice there are no doors, I think they may have said "UN"
Merry Christmas to all..

Saw a nice Defender today at the Marina, it also exemplifies the generosity of the lovely people on the island. If you look closely you will see the keys to it sitting on the front fender (wing).
