Love the Rover

#1 Post by steven_eck » Mon Apr 01, 2019 12:28 am

We got a Rover this last year because we live over a mile down a private logging road that also serves as our driveway. My wife used to be an English nanny and loves these vehicles and talked me into buying one instead of a Jeep. I said "ok" to looking for a Rover because last year, during the spring "break up", we would have to park our "normal" cars at the nearest paved road a mile from our house and walk back and forth or shuttle our family via 4 wheeler. Not this year! We absolutely love having our old disco!

It's good to see your LR being used for what it was made for. Enjoy :D

Looks like you're enjoying your Disco as originally intended, but that road would seriously benefit from some ditching to help it drain so you don't rut it up so much. A cap of gravel would help a lot too.
