How much for key Fobs? Will they work with a 1999 D1?

1999 D1??? Well, I'm pretty sure the D1 was stopped in 1998, which means you've got the wrong year or the wrong truck. D1 in North America was 1994-1998 and D2 was 1999-2004. Maybe someone else can verify that. This will not work with a D1.
I can sell you a fob with an uncut key for $120. You will need to have the fob programmed. I had mine done at Rovalution in NV, it was quick.
You should be able to get the key cut pretty much anywhere that'll do car keys. Maybe the guys at Rovalution could help with that.
You can find blank key fobs on eBay for under $10 but to finds a fob with an uncut key and the guts you'd probably be looking at 150-200...or more. So basically that means I am awesome. Let me know if you've got any other questions.

There are some 1999 D1s kicking about. D2 fobs will not work.

Thanks Tony,
I will keep my eyes open for a D1 fob or two.

Re: Discovery 2 parts
1998 was the last year for the Disco 1. They actually released the disco 2 in 1998 but it was introduced to North America in 99. Regardless of all that, the key will not work with a D1.
Easy way to tell, if your door handles look like this then it's a D2.
