Manual steering box from Defender
Converted to power steering. Anyone need a manual box?

Not so sure about that. It would take some work on the frame to mount it, but it could probably be done. I don’t think it would be much of an improvement though. The p38 box mounts pretty well on the outside of the frame and would get you power steering.

I don't think I'd want power steering in a series truck, but for some of my trucks the steering is kind of old and crusty/rusty so I was just curious.

The front crossmember occupies the space where the box mounts.swamijake wrote:Not so sure about that. It would take some work on the frame to mount it, but it could probably be done.

And move the radiator and breakfast, new cooling hoses, fan shroud, slam panel, longer bonnet.
