Welder needed!

#1 Post by The_Anachronist » Sun May 27, 2018 5:53 pm

It’s past time that I got the bulkhead and rad panel started... welder/body pro needed please!

In the meantime I also have one quick little job restoring the rear axle shock mount hole to the correct diameter - that one needs to happen quickly.

And while we’re at it: I think galvanizing the bulkhead is probably over the top, but several of the English S2 club types have spoken of “e-coating”. Anyone here know what that is, or if anyone is doing it here?

e coating from my understanding is similar to powedercoating but is done in a liquid bath so the coating can adhere to harder to reach places. Might be effective for reducing rust compared to painting. I'm also under the understanding that e-coating can be used as a primer coat not sure if thats for paint or powder though.
I googled a couple of places in washington but nothing in BC.
