Yes, they are getting expensive but that's an especially nice one.

For that kind of money I am following the Bonhams Goodwood Members sale next weekend...

I really enjoyed driving my 1950 around the country lanes and to shows in Blighty. A bit sorry I let it go as it was original.
I did have a drive of a Tickford, and that was the worst thing I have ever driven (even worse than my old Gogomobile!). Pulling too much weight, and rolling like a drunk even before you got to a corner.
Series cars are wonderful old friends, but Tickfords are now only show, and no go.
Then again, as an investment, better than money in the bank for as long as the classic car movement survives(?)
