Series III Brake Tower

#1 Post by cbalme » Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:34 pm

I need a Series III or perhaps late IIA brake tower which can accommodate the servo assist booster.

Thanks

Hi Colin,

It may be easier to just install a remote servo if your original brake system is in working order. That said, if your original brakes are set up correctly your brakes should be fine for regular driving.

Hi Colin

You really do not need power brakes it is just one more thing to go wrong.
Manuel brakes give you strong calf muscles (especially the right leg.)
If you get power brakes the next things you will be asking for are power steering and air conditioning.

I would be able to cope without power brakes. But when I bought my parts truck it came with the Servo and Master cylinder so I'd rather just use those than buy another master cylinder.
