Re: 12th Annual Restoration Fair & Swap Meet
Hi Rob
This is a fun event, British car and rover parts to look at, mini train rides, old historical buildings to explore and they even have a lunch truck on site. However not much 4x4ing unless it rains and they park us out back in the mud.
I'm in what say we meet at the Tim Hortons just north of Duncan across from the BC Forest Museum at 8:00 am Sunday June 7th. for coffee and plan to leave at 8:15 for the drive down to Victoria. I know the event does not officially start till 10:00 but this one fills up very fast and you take the chance of not getting in to proudly display your freshly washed rover if you are tardy.
Bring the usual (with the exception of recovery gear) lawn chairs, lunch, warm clothes or suntan lotion and maybe a camera

I'll be there with my SWB. I'll won't get out there until the afternoon, baseball season has taken up all my mornings.

Unfortunately I won't make this one. Too far and not enough hours in my day. Please keep me posted on any off-road missions coming up. I'd love to get out in the middle of nowhere.....anywhere on the island.
