Range Rover Classic or Discovery to Off-Roader Kit

#1 Post by StuartL » Tue Feb 12, 2013 9:36 pm

Some of you may remember my little project to develop a Kit to take an old Range Rover or Disco and turn it into a "Weekend Bowler".

Well here is a picture of the RRC I sent abroad

And here is the progress on it

Finished it will look something like this:

I would welcome any thoughts on whether people in North America would enjoy this little bestie, we are trying to keep the base kit price around the $10,000 mark.

Nice looking Tomcat.....

I had the same idea prior to emigrating & decided there wasn't the market for a comp-safari type of vehicle here. If I'd thought there was I'd be driving one... had the option & turned it down.

Best of luck anyway, but I think you need to get it sub $10k as that'll buy you allot of parts for a 90/110 rebuild.

Cheers,
Andy
