Sorry massive topic but doesn't seem to be a lot out there.
I test drove a few Defenders in BC but it just seems that profit is Max and quality Min so I'm looking outside the country even though this will be a huge pain.
So far I'm thinking Germany. Even though they salt the roads there, there seems to be a few very good examples for around 14k and they are LHD.
In terms of using an agent this seems to make sense to me to cut down on the red tape.
Was thinking something like this: https://www.aacb.com/get-your-products-moving/auto/
Thanks,
Please let me know if there are already posts on this. Sort of surprised I didn't see any!

Germany is expensive....
- Holland is cheaper - they have serious tax issues there so loads of 110's are up for sale.
- Switzerland is source for many vehicle buyers : tough MOT and no salt
- France is not very cheap but rust is less of an issue due to climate and lack of salt.
Please observe that shipping & insurance cost money and buying a vehicle unseen is always a big gamble.
Quite a few people here have imported vehicles - just ask around.
