Going back to go forward.
Yup! It's true. I'm going back to my old 109 Station Wagon. I transfered the plates off my 90 onto the 109 yesterday, started it out in the field and drove it away. Since sitting awhile (4 years) a U joint in the front drive-shaft seems to have packed it in and a couple lights no longer work after driving it a few miles. What I notice most is the lack of power steering, tie with the engine power increase. WOW! Acceleration pulling away from a stop sign is like a race car in comparison to the 2.5 NA in the 90. I can accelerate going up hills again too. Who would have thought a 2.25 liter petrol engine in a Land Rover would ever have been thought to be "powerful" or acceleration "quick"?

Hi Greg
Welcome back. Petrols rule. ( That swarthy look and nasty cough you were developing should also go away.)
