Grizzly Torque tour.

#1 Post by Greg S » Tue Jun 23, 2015 9:57 pm

I got to Victoria today and was able to visit Grizzly Torque, meet Bristol Foster, tour the Robert Bateman Studio and check out the Foster/ Bateman world tour display. Chatted with Stuart for a few minutes too. It all looks good!

I did! Really! I even have the tee shirt to prove it.

I recommend that you take the opportunity to visit them THIS WEEK in Victoria. Anytime actually, it is just that, as I understand it, Stuart, Bristol and Grizzly Torque are only going to be there this week.

The Studio and display will be there longer.

Has anybody noted that that Bateman guy does some pretty good painting?

The Grizzly Torque will be on display until the end of the weekend outside the Bateman Centre in Victoria, next week it heads to Salt Spring for the murals to be redone by Robert Bateman then up to the interior.

Still waiting to hear from Land Rover to see if they want to be involved.

Hi Guys

We also went down today to Victoria to see Grizzly Torque and I also got the T -shirt. ( Thanks Stuart) Sadly no picture. We also meet Bristol Foster and by coincidence he also has owned a Dormobile so we had a few stories to compare. Great morning.

Any idea when Grizzly torque will come to the interior?
Really looking forward to seeing it, especially with the murals!
I hope there are still some T shirts left!

The Grizzly Torque made an appearance at the "Brits on the Beach" last weekend thanks to the support of Victor, Greg, Rob and other's from the Island. She is currently residing on Salt Spring awaiting Robert Bateman's artistic touch. We were hoping to bring it to the Merritt Show and Shine July 26. I'll post an announcement as soon as it's confirmed.

We are getting more T-shirts made :)

Cheers,

TOLON

Assuming the Merritt show and shine appearance never happened, any plans for a fall showing?
The August CLR article has me intrigued for a looksie!

My apologizes for no announcement, the GT did attend the Merritt show and got a couple of nice press stories. Currently we are waiting to hear about the movie plans and from Land Rover fingers crossed for the Grizzly Torque World Tour II.

If you need extra hands on the world tour, I'll take off for a few months. I'm intimately familiar with series ones.
