I have just joined your club on a recommendation from a friend. I have also become a sponsor.
I run as small Land Rover company called Globallandrovers. I have been trading on and off since 1987 under this name. At first the company was formed to help me make money to pay for my obsession. but since 2001 I have been doing this full time. There have been hiccups along the way, and the recession caused me problems along with all the cheaper British and other countries cowboys who sprang up in 2006/7 to cash in. These people offer offered a bling product, ie something that looks nice but is a mechanical POS underneath.
What I always endeavor to provide is a comprehensive service, on our vehicles we will not hide anything. We sell 'Crate' re-built (turn key) engines, take-out diesel re-power kits, and all general parts and accessories. I have an agent in Vancouver. Later this year I hope to come over to see if we can make a more formal arrangement.
If a vehicle is listed as a project it will be just that, it will need a new chassis, possibly a new bulkhead. but it will be solid enough as a basis for what ever dream car you wish to build.
Our daily driver vehicles are driven by my business partner Colin and Myself daily until they are sold. Attached below is my daily driver.
This vehicle is being sold as is. Its in my daily driver category. I.E. a vehicle that can be used daily and improved over time.
This particular vehicle has had an extensive service, a new timing belt and serpentine belt, all oils changed, new UJ's in front and rear prop-shafts, it will have new wheels and tires before sale, the interior is clean and functional, it has had a new rear X member with extensions, the rest of the chassis has some corrosion but is sound it has been cleaned and painted with chassis paint. I also fitted silicone air hose kit and an EGR blanking plate. More work will be done as I go, i'm sure.

Then next category we do is refurbished vehicles, so the same as a daily driver, but with a factory colour respray, re-trimmed interior, re-conditioned headlining, doors replaced where necessary. Please visit the forum for sales page for more info
The final category we offer is Re-built, which basically is a total rebuild from a Galvanized chassis and Bulkhead up.
At present we only have 110's at the yard, but I have 3 x 90's due in sometime in March. all our stock for Canada is LHD.
We offer the projects and the Daily drivers because some people like to get their vehicles restored to order in Canada, Should you wish us to ship a vehicle and the parts to a restoration shop then that's fine. If your in Vancouver we recommend Don at Rovalution.
On a personal note. If any of you have the April 2002 issue of Land Rover Owner International Magazine, I'm on the front cover in my series 2a.
I currently personally own a 1963 88 2a, a 1985 110 ex mod, and a 2011 Puma Van.
In the last 5 years I have also owned a selection of 110's and classic Range Rovers. I drove a 110 from New York to Las Vegas on the 2010 Bullrun rally.
In 20010 and in 2011 I went with friends on a wilderness safari in Iceland in vehicles Globallandrovers prepared.
