Founders Day Raffle Draws - Land Rover Cafe Rocking Chair

Founders Day will be held Saturday January 24, 2015 and in the past we have had some great support from Members and Vendors for Raffle Prizes.

This is the major fund raiser for the Club so I am putting out a Challenge to Members and Vendors to donate prizes for the event.

Most of us have treasures or inventory that we do not have a use for anymore that we can donate to the Club for the Raffle. Land Rover parts, Land Rover Accessories, Camping Equipment or any of value relating to the pursuit of our passion. If you have any question whether you think you donation is appropriate just check with Andy, that's what I did :)

To start things off I have a brand new very rare Land Rover Café Rocking Chair that I am donating for the raffle. Wouldn't you look good in this chair around a campfire or in your living room, elegant, useful and Land Rover!!!

I have a number of past issues of Overland Journal that I will be bringing to hand out. Now that I am not with the Journal full-time I don't have as many as I used to.

I hope we can generate more interest in helping with the Club Raffle, if you are a Land Rover owner you must have things you bought as a Must Have that have never been used, go out and look in those garages!!!

FYI, I found a site that is selling the Costa Rican Leather Campaign chairs without the Custom Land Rover logo for $3,200 USD's so I expect very generous raffle ticket buying at Founder's Day!!!

The rental for the Agriplex arena has gone up (after recent renovations) so holding the show there is now stretching the clubs funds.

Yes, combining a hovercraft ride with the Rover weekend at Greg's is a definite possibility! I will have a gift certificate ready for the show (the certificate is good for one year). :wave:
