Yes it's done by Jeeps but still worth a watch...
This was unsupported...unlike a lot of the so called expeditions you see on TV now.

The leader of this trip, Mark Smith (who used to also run the Jeep Jamboree series of events in the US) recently passed away. He was a really nice guy. There was a write up about him in Overland Journal last year.
