MB Haul Road closure???

MB Haul Road closure???
Just drove through Chemanius and saw signs posted on the highway stating that MB Haul Road access will be permanently closed as of Aug 1st... any info on what this is all about? :?:

Hi Rob.
I'm pretty sure it is the highway crossing and traffic light that are being closed. Pretty sure the east road will continue to have access from the south and return to the highway going north. The section on the west side of the highway may be closed with access only from the by-pass road. Just guessing here mind you because there is no longer commercial hauling on it and there are other accesses in close proximity.

oops! Guess I'm wrong because the "Closed Aug 1st " sign is only on the east side of the highway and no indication anything is happening on the west side. I better do some checking and I'll get back to you.
