We were supposed to be taking a press car from Land Rover Monthly out at the weekend but they had to cancel at the last minute. As you can imagine, I was pretty excited about having them along and I had made sure 2 of my Land Rover driving mates who were photographers, were out with us.
Well it seemed a shame to waste the day and having 2 guys along who know what they are doing, compared to my usual happy snaps made quite a difference to the end result picture wise. I thought these were brilliant.

What bad weather? Have at look at these photos from the eastern US today.

They had 12 to 14 inches with more on the way. State of emergency declared in Atlanta and other places, and more to come. Gee, I feel guilty sitting here in Canada under blue skies with temps comfortably above freezing. We are kind of expected to live in a land of ice and snow but you sure can't tell it by our west coast winters. Fourth year in a row where we haven't had "winter". A couple hours north of us is Mount Washington ski resort. Last year they had world record levels of snow for a ski hill. This year they were a month late opening and were only open for two weeks before they closed for lack of snow. Supposed to be opening again this week.

Weathers freaky the world over right now. In the UK apparently the water tables are all saturated so any new rain fall has no where to go. Sink holes are starting to open up all over the place and all the usual tracks are flooded!
