Hello all, I am currently in the Turks and Caicos Islands and am delighted at the number of Land Rovers here. They even have a Land Rover Dealership which I find a little odd but it results in there being quite a few. It's only day one but here a taste of TCI Rovers,

The Defenders seem to be the vehicle of choice for the contractors on the island, I am sure I will have more to share with you all as the week progresses.
I hope to see you all at Founders Day so....

Re: Turks and Caicos Islands Rovers
It's a British Overseas Territory (i.e. the same as the Falklands Islands and Gibraltar), so not surprising at all really!

Caught up to this D90 at the traffic circle, I don't think there are any stop lights on the Island.

Today in the Turks and Caicos Islands
I stopped by the Land Rover Dealer today and spent some time with the Service Manager, who is originally from Namibia (where I was in October) and got a great tour. He seems to do a lot of rebuilds rather than new sales because of the import tax structure.
Here's what I saw today....

This D90 is the most damaged one I have ever seen. It became airborne and landed upside-down on another vehicle, everything is bent, the engine split open. The driver walked away with two broken ribs.....amazing
