OME swap

I put them on my 91RR, swapped stock springs & shocks for the OME set up.

I have had a few people ask me how I got along with installing OME shocks & springs on my 1991 RR Classic, so I thought I would share it with all.
I started with the FAQ on this site, it was very helpful showing part numbers & contacts.
I then got quotes from 3 different sources for 4 coil springs, 4 shocks & the steering stabilizer shock.
Wise Owl in North Van came in at the lowest price, all 9 pieces inc taxes for $960 Canadian.
With a friends help (and an essential mini grinder for stubborn part removal) we had all old parts removed & new parts installed in one afternoon.
Now my Rangey sits nice, firm & level at approx 2" all around higher. The improvement on & off road is remarkable.
I am now looking for some 235-85-16 BFG Mud terrains which I am told will fit snuggly but safely (at 33") under the arches!
Some part numbers have changed / been updated so I will list them as follows. Front Coils OME751 / Rear Coils OME764 / Front Shocks N45F / Rear shocks N46 / Steering shock damper OMESD11 "


I hear that removing the Air suspension is fairly straight forward & an increasingly popular option. If I can find a link I will post it.
