Land Rovers Rock crawl up the Pheasant Steps & Recovery Home

The final bit of footage from my recent day in Mid Wales. Ever since we crossed Nort 4x4 coming up the Pheasant Steps last year, I’ve wanted to do that myself. Those guys were in much higher specced trucks than us and even they took some damage doing it so I guess you can say we were apprehensive about it. As it turns out it was just a good challenging drive and we all got up it OK. Well I say OK, I’m fairly sure that did for my panhard rod bushes and I ended up needing to get recovered as the Defender 110 wouldn’t go over 20MPH without rattling my teeth out!

That looks a great area to explore, it is always steeper than the video shows and that looked steep on the video.
thanks for posting the video, sorry to hear it ended in a tow home!

All part of the fun in a way. Just a bit annoying it was £4 part that failed an stopped me getting home!

Thanks for posting these videos. I really enjoy them, especially the ecstatic intro VoiceOver and the 'rubbish' comment at the end.

I must disagree as to breaking down being part of the fun. I am trying to get through a run without breaking/damaging anything!
