We are back

#1 Post by PaulC » Sun May 29, 2005 11:34 pm

Just pulled in home (11:15pm), just wondering if Mark, Kris & Andy are out of the snow? Those who were there - it was good fun, those who couldn't be...we'll go back. :D

I called Andy's wife around 10:30 from Hope and she had just heard from him, she wasn't sure but thought he was in Coalmont or Princeton. I don't know yet if Kris, Mark and company came back through with him...

We got in around 11:20.

I'm Home..

I rolled into Steveston at 2am, tired & weary but still smiling from all the fun on the Whipsaw trail!
We finaly came off the end of the trail near Princeton just as darkness fell (9.45pm) It was one snow bank after another on the last third of the trail. Just amazing what we went through & managed to keep going. All the details & photos to come......including how not to rip off your bush bars with a PTO winch
Thanks Dave for calling ahead home for me.
Thanks Kris & Mark for pulling me through the rough stuff,
Lets do it all again soon!

Cheers,
Andy

Cool! You made it through all the way? You must have been dead tired by the time you hit the highway.

I'll look forward to the pictures.

After airing up, we drove for a while but got too tired to stay away , we decided to have a power nap in Manning Park.
I left Manning Park at 1:15 , quick stop in Abbotsford to get diesel , home by 3:00 am.
Mark slept till 4:00 am and got home around 6:00 am.

What a weekend, my winch never got such a workout !

if this is what cleaning trails is about ....I am ready to clean up the whole world !!

Myself and my friend Greg in the cruiser had a short look around blakeburn and then to Tulameen for a spot of lunch and then headed home up the back road to the cokahala (not sure on the spelling) and then down home around 4:00 pm and our wife and families had a great time and who knows I may be able to select low range next time.(still havent figured it out).

Andrew, I’ve got a single photo of Greg’s Cruiser on Dave’s tow strap, that I’d be happy to email off to em.

I have also got a shot of Kris & the Toy PU crossing Well’s that I would also send to the Toy owner?
