Is a Deluxe Hood period correct for a 1970 SIIA?

Hello,
I'm wondering in anyone knows if a Deluxe Hood is period correct for a 1970 Series IIA 88"?

Hi Kelly,

A deluxe hood was standard equipment on all station wagon models, so if your truck has the double skin "safari" hard top then yes its correct for your truck. However, being a Land Rover you could order a basic model and request a deluxe dished bonnet so its hard to say what's correct! I'm of the mindset that its your truck so unless your going for a full concours restoration do what you want and have fun.

Hi There

I have a delux hood in perfect condition except it does not have the dish for the spare tire. Not sure what one would go for. I am on the island in victoria. any questions or if interested let me know.
