200 tdi conversion fuel filter question
Hi, I've converted my 110 to a 200tdi from a 2.5 n/a, but kept the 2.5 n/a fuel filter set up. I now want to put in the correct fuel filter but can't find my paper work on it's placement in the engine bay as well as which lines go where. Any ideas where I can find the conversion info? As I said I had the whole thing but can't find it anywhere. Thanks Dan.

Re: 200 tdi conversion fuel filter question
It mounts to the same place on the bulkhead. The fuel comes from the lift pump and goes to the injection pump. The spill lines go straight back to the tank. This is all clear in the factory parts manual, which is available online.
If you are buying something anyway, I would suggest getting a Stanadyne FM100 head and use one of their 6", 2 micron filters. They mount nicely to the stock location, provide much better filtration and the elements are around the same price as the stock ones.
