Island Pinks?
Spotted Tuesday afternoon heading south on the island highway near Mill Bay, 2 "pink" series rovers (looked like 2 or 2a) being hauled on a flatbed behind a pick-up. One was an 88, the other a 109, both had white hard tops (looked like civilian trucks). Looked like they were painted the same shade of pink :oops: (not just faded Poppy red). Anyone from these parts know about those trucks? Pink seems to be in vogue these days (no pun intended) as recently I found a series one painted a similar shade so I am wondering if there is some connection between these trucks and the color choice?
