Washington State Overland Rally

Hey everyone,

I have been roped-in to work on the NW Overland Rally this year. I haven't got the website updated yet, but I wanted to let everyone know the plan, in-case anyone wants to schedule summer holidays.

This year it will be on a little ranch just outside Leavenworth WA. Dates are July 26-29. (the last weekend of July).

If you haven't been to Leavenworth, it is a Bavarian Village, in the Cascade Mountains. Seriously, a real Bavarian village, complete with Lederhosen, a German Brewery, Schnitzel, and all the trimmings.

Of course, we will still have all the Rally activities too, and I think the change of location will make the trail rides much more interesting this year.

I'll keep you posted as I learn more.

The local guy who is acting as trail lead says he can map out a dirt-track from the Canadian border all the way to the Rally.

Would anyone be interested in taking a back-route down again this year?

Hey guys, just checking to see who else is coming for this one this year. It will be a lot more relaxed (and cheaper) than last year, some fun classes, good food, etc.

We will be in Leavenworth so it will be cool in the mountains. And we are across the road from a Winery, (just in case).

The schedule includes scenic drives, a chef on hand to help at meal times, medical training, advanced and basic recovery classes, lots of free prizes and gear, etc.

Family and dog friendly, and all vehicles and bikes are welcome.

I'm into a back route to the Rally...always up for a good adventure.
