All,
Driving around our gas-guzzling D2 -- after driving my vw golf diesel commuter all week -- I was struck again how nice D2s are to drive. I used to own some nice cars when I made actual money ten years ago, but nothing has been as enjoyable to drive to me as the two D2s we've owned (I assume the Range Rover must feel similar). The only car I've enjoyed driving as much as this was a '79 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow; the independently-suspended Royces with the rack-and-pinion steering introduced in the late '70s are a joy in which to "proceed."
That's it, just an observation.
