Looking for oxygen sensors for my 3.9

#1 Post by cgill » Tue Feb 01, 2011 3:07 pm

Hi there,

Okay I don't own a land rover but I do love them!

I'm actually building an MGB with Rover 3.5 with 3.9 heads and a 1989 Rover 3.9 EFI system. I am starting the reassembly after finally getting the car painted

Now I am on the hunt for oxygen sensors for my setup. I have found a few sources but wanted to see what you guys had to say. Where do you recommend I purchase them? Is there anything I need to know about the oxygen sensors (e.g wide band or??) before I buy them?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Chris

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the board. I have an old Y-pipe with oxy sensors in it here if you want it. It's from a late 80s range rover with efi. Also lots of other v8 parts. I'm in Armstrong, just down the road.

I got your other message regarding the english car repair place in Vernon. I can't remember the name of the business off hand, but I'll drive by there tomorrow and let you know.

BTW, we're gonna start holding monthly coffee gatherings in the north Okanagan starting Feb 10th, so you're welcome to join us. Watch your email or the coming events area of this board for details.

cheers, Dave
