Hi Soeron
If you are starting off in the UK then a popular choice for Insurance travel in europe is the Automobile Association (AA).
http://www.theaa.com/services/european_ ... /index.jsp
You will need a International Driving License (which you should get before leaving Canada).
Also note that your vehicle of choice will have to be 15 years or older to be able to bring it back with you (export)
Good luck
Andy

UK to Vancouver
Hi Soeren
I looked into bringing a 101 into Van a couple of years ago and the following is an exerpt from a company which provides RoRo (roll on, roll off) services. You might want to check with them for current prices.
Cheers
Ted
A Container (weekly + 30 days) would be expensive
at about GBP2000-2500 to the West Coast e.g.
Vancouver ex. our Barking warehouse and about
CD1500 Canadian side in port, haulage, unpacking
costs and the vehicle is too high in any case.
RoRo (weekly + 28 days) ex. Southampton to Tacoma
is more cost effective at about GBP1605, as long
as the vehicle is driveable. No items can be left
inside a car on this service. The Usa authorities
may be difficult moving a car from the port to the
border.
Usa Roro port charges are about USD75.
The trailer could add about GBP200 but again no
contents are allowed.
The same service to Halifax would cost GBP1180 and
GBP200.
Uk collection e.g. London + GBP175 Chauffeur or
GBP235 Transporter and Marine Insurance cover at
2% of the car value (min. GBP50) is extra.

Richard Korge

Soeren,
I paid 1010 GBP to ship RoRo from Southhampton to Tacoma Wa.(excluding marine insurance) using Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines. I was able to ship some misc. spares and a bull bar as long as they went with the vehicle. It was a gamble but all was intact upon arrival. This way I could drive it up from the states after obtaining a Washington state 3 day permit for $25 and a 10 day binder of insurance through ICBC for about $45. My contact in the UK was very helpful and efficient:
