Parabolics

#1 Post by derek n » Sun Feb 06, 2005 8:08 pm

:D I have just finished up fitting RM Parabolics to my Airportable. Nice ride, problem :? is that I have a tilt to the drivers side. I'm a pretty heavy guy  and probably could do with a diet but I would think that they wouldn't tilt that far over, approx. 1 1/2 to 2 inches. I know that these springs are not Handed so I'm sure that is also a part of the issue. If I shuffle the springs around would this possibly help? Should I also go end for end? Has anyone had experience with this sort of thing :?: I'm using a 3 leaf rear.
Cheers

Other than saying "live with it", i would suggest loosening all the shackle bolts, shaking the truck and seting it level tehn retighten all the bolts to the correct torque.

I agree with Don's assessment. And Derek, you got my other message, right?

I had the same problem with mine initially...slacken...shake and tighten worked for mine.
