Hi Guys,
I am planning on changing the Power steering fluid in my 91 RRClassic.
Is it straight forward as draining it from the bottom, then pouring the new fluid into the top?
Being from the old Series group I've never had the luxury of changing "power steering fluid" before now! :?
So any tips, info would be appreciated,

Power steering fluid is not a regular service item for LR. There is no real drain, it's more like a brake hydraulic system with a bleed screw.
It will be messy, but...
...with the engine off, get a large open top drain bucket or rubbermaid bin under the steering box and frame rail towards the front, loosen off and remove the two fittings (16mm & 14mm wrench) on top of the steering box and let gravity drain the reservoir(cap off), pump and lines. Then refit the lines, top up the fluid and bleed it.
To bleed start the engine, top up the fluid until the pump sounds normal, turn the wheels lock to lock, top up the fluid, "stop" the engine. Open the bleed screw on top of the steering box and let the fluid flow out, you should see/hear air bubbles come out, then stop, tighten the screw and repeat once more. After it sits for awhile the and the air bubbles rise out of the fluid retop the level (middle mark for cold, top mark for hot).
You'll have to clean off the box and frame rail now with engine degreaser and a hose or brake clean(if you want to kill more brain cells)
Caution: DON'T loosen any lines or bleed screws with the system running or you'll have a much bigger mess and you could hurt yourself. The system is running at 1500 - 2500 Psi.
Landrover recommends Automatic Transmission Fluid "Dextron/Mercon III"
