Injector pump solonoid
Hi eveyone.
The shut off solonoid for the injector pump on my 2.5 NA diesel has started to leak fuel. I have the part # and am looking for a new one and have some questions before I contamplate doing the repair myself.
Has anyone done this themselves? Are there things I should be aware of? Does anyone have diagrams or manuals for these pumps? Or should I just leave this to a diesel mechnic to do?
I've never worked on an injector pump before so any advice would be helpful.

That'd be great, thanks. E-mail is: [email protected]
I just pulled it and epoxied along the edge of the metal sleeve and the plastic inner part so I'm hoping it will stop or atleast decrease the leak and buy me some time. The niehbors are not impressed and my fuel economy is the pits.

Do you know what part number it might go by? The only number I could find was an LR one and I'll will probably have to order the part.
It sucks being out in the boonies, there are good mechanics around but they don't keep anything in stock. I prefered when I was in Van and you could walk in with the part and compare.
