BFG KM2 M/T?

#1 Post by HeadDamage » Fri Feb 26, 2010 1:02 pm

Is anyone running the new BFG KM2 Mud terrain tire yet? If so how does it perform? I need a new set of 255/85R16 tires for the 90 some time this year and there are not a lot of choices in this size. Next option is to go to the 285/75R16 size as there are lots of tires in this size.

Hi Andrew,

I'm not running them yet, but went with a group last fall through Mackenzie Trail. One set of BFG MT KM1s on my Discovery, A set of Goodyear MTs on a Defender and a set of the new KM2s on another Defender. The truck with the KM2s consistently handled and cleared mud better than anyone else. And believe me we had mud. Feet of it at times.

My next tires are definitely going to be the KM2s.

cheers, Dave

Have them on the 90 but the only thing it drives over is the curb into the garage at present..... however, I hear there decent at clearing the mud & good on the rocks too.

Cheers,
Andy
