#1 Post by ANDYD » Sat Feb 06, 2010 9:15 am

Hi All,

Pete has made a limited ammount of Canol Expedition DVD's available. You can pick one up by clicking on the Merchandise tab above. I will also bring a few to the monthly meeting at Rickys on Feb 18th.
When they-are-gone-they-are-gone.... so if you want one be quick!

Description;

2-disc DVD set of a 700km off road expedition of the first attempt to cross the entire Canol Road with a vehicle in more than 60 years. The journey took members of the Rover-Landers and their Land Rovers deep into the bush of Canada's Northwest Territory. Includes beautiful scenery, historic relics left from the US Army's construction of the road, and a short segment on the history of the Canol Road. Approx. 2 hrs.

Got my DVD's yesterday of the Canol Expedition . I must say it's an excellent production and recount of the trip . I like the introduction with the history lesson as to how the Canol project came about .

Next Tuesday evening , we plan to have several members of NCOAS over for a movie night .
