The new Goodyear MTr's withe Kevlar and the assymetrical tread pattern are a cool looking tire, but pretty new so I haven't heard anything about how long they last etc. Also I don't think all the sizes are available yet, at least I couldn't find a 255/85/16.
I watched them on the trail last week in very muddy conditions. They consistently didn't clear the mud as well as the new design BFG MTRs. The new style BFGs cleared mud better than any other tire in the group, including my BFG MTR KMIIs — which admittedly are getting a bit worn.

Sorry Dave, that confused me a bit.
Are you saying the BFG MT KM2s cleared better than everything else in the group including your BFG MT KMs? That is good to hear.
Been wanting some 1st hand experience with those new tires. I wish one of my friends would get some. I could test against the SSRs.

I've been running those since they first came out. The best dual purpose tire I've seen or used to date.
