Ross is having some problem with his motor crapping out once it is warmed up. He's wondering if it is the 2 barrel Weber doing it. Anyone got experience with them? Have a look at the Van Isle Yahoo site for the thread titled "Cranky 2.25 petrol."

Hi Greg,
I tried to post on your site but it told me I have to "wait 24hrs for my Yahoo account to be reactivated"
Anyhow, I remember chasing very similar symptons on my 2a with a webber carb, after many strip-downs and new parts, it turned out to be the distributor. Once I changed the distributor for new, all the backfiring, rough running went away!
Just thought I would throw that out there, sometimes the series fault finding can send you in the wrong direction!
cheers,
Andy
