Kodiak Heater

When I took apart my Kodiak heater it had a black putty like substance that held the heater core in place. What are folks using to seal that in place now.

Hi Richard,
I have had success before with the black / grey window putty that is used for bedding series glass windows to the frames. I found that the local car windsheild replacement places have this stuff readily available, it comes in a roll.

Thanks Andy - Dropped by the other day and the glass place gave me a small roll for free. Worked perfect.
