My SRS light has been on for the last month. Cleaned front connectors for the seat belts and the light went off - unfortunately it came back on a few days later.

Clearing the code won't help you - it will just come back on. A diagnostic computer might be able to determine the exact area your problem is coming from, so you can fix it. Hopefully it’s not the airbag.

Don't know if this helps but let me know if you find a solution.

Take it to Keith, Don or Alistair. They will find you a solution. I had the same thing about a year ago, and it reported one hub. After replacement it hasn't come on again. In Kelowna, you might want to connect with LandyAndy in Revelstoke as its not that far down the road and his new equipment will pull the codes as well.

The srs light in my d1 has always been on.. interesting solutions posted!

my research led me to believe that most d1's have this problem and its nothing to worry about..

I had the same problem last year, there is a cupler in the colum its a yelow plastic bit that has contactors for the air bag and horn mine was broke from me hitting the horn too hard. I think used they are about $400.00.
Check the scrap yards for the part or talk to Alister as he repaired mine.

Cheers
Andrew
