Just had a read through the 1985 RoverLanders newsletter that is posted under the "newsletters" tab. Very interesting to see how the club developed in the early days. There is even a article on the club name, where "RoverLanders" was voted on and selected above a few other suggestions.
Also a report on a club run at the Vancouver Airport mud flats
If only we could still play there!
Is that the first official "RoverLanders Newsletter" ? Is there any earlier ones from 1984?
Dave, thanks for posting them up there.
cheers,
Andy

Andy,
I would have to say that from looking at the cover that this is issue #3. I would have to say then that the first three came in pretty rapid succession as the club was not very old at that point. I don't think that I have any newsletters from back then but If I do come across any I will be sure to scan and post them.

Hi John,
That would be great if you could turn up the earlier editions.
Do you have the title of Oldest Active Member? (sshhhsssh, I promise I wont tell anyone!)
