Their fuel saving claims are a tad high

I would take this to www.rangerovers.net as the feed back on there will be broader as this this is a good web site for this tech stuff. but would not touch it.

In my ten seconds of Google research, i get....

It replaces the intake air temperature sensor putting a constant temperature signal to the ECU. i.e., it is a resistor in a box.
