Dave, they look to be in pretty good shape in the photo, not much wear! :D You should be able to just weld them up a bit and file off the rough parts. 8) If you had had welding rods with you, you probably could have done that on the trail. Well; a real Land Rover enthusiest would have. :lol:

Yep, had the spare diff in on Wednesday evening. Everything tucked into place quite nicely.

Not much visible wear in the old diff, just the two gears blown to pieces. Anyone got a spare set, so I can repair this diff as a spare again?
I took the truck with the new rear diff up to Salmon Arm and back yesterday and all worked extremely well.
