Is this the roll bar type that fits on top of the box edge? Single? Double? If so, it should fit with a stock top. Check with Ray Wood at Wise Owl as he just had some made and was showing me the other day.

Hmmm, did you talk to Ray? Could be a product in development or tied to a hoop set, but I'm sure I saw it there last week.

I assume that you're looking for the roll bar for looks rather than protection? Personally I wouldn't trust one of the miliary bars without reinforcements from the bottom of it to the frame. Better to get a roll bar built that attaches directly to the frame, IMHO...

EX-MOD 90/110 roll bar

#3 Post by bclandrover » Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:35 pm

I have a good used EX-MOD 90/110 roll bar with bars that angle back and brackets that fit to rear tub for mounting. It will not work with a hard top, requires some mods to fit Series. You can come over a look at it if you want and maybe we can make a deal.

As for Dave's comment re: strength and attaching to the frame...
...Although attaching to the frame is ideal, the 90/110 roll bar attaches to the rear tub with two massive brackets plus the two support bars. I would say it's way better than the series roll bar which has no real support and simply bolts to the galvanized capping. Also, I bet the 90/110 roll bar fitted correctly would do better than a stock hardtop in a serious roll over.

Later,
Don
