Washing an engine

#1 Post by yuppa » Thu Jul 10, 2008 1:38 pm

Hey so my engine is totally filthy, caked on grime and oil from leaks and dust and its just terrible.

I have been advised to wash it, just give it a good pressure wash and that will help us find out where the leaks are coming from.

Well ive read up on washing the engine, its something ive never done before and I think I could use some help..

anyone want to earn a case of beer sometime in the next day or two, help me figure out what kind of engine degreaser to use and cover up all the important electricals/air intakes ect.. basically teach me the correct way to do it.. should i get silicon grease?

Anyone interested? Im in new west.
